Dr. Kelly Kosheiff
DDS, MSc, BSc
Kelly was born and raised in the Kootenay’s. He grew up in Fruitvale and attended high school in Trail before attending the University of Alberta for 10 years! There he obtained Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Physiology followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS). He completed a General Practice Residency at the University of Alberta Hospital, gaining training and experience with hospital based dentistry including treating patients in the operating room and more advanced surgical treatments such as dental implant placement and wisdom tooth extractions. He joined Kootenay Lake Dental clinic in 2013 and has been enjoying all aspects of family dentistry ever since. Kelly enjoys spending time with his family: wife, Courtney, daughter Sydney and Bo, his dog. He loves playing hockey and also skiing, hiking and cycling.

Dr. Kurt Young
DDS, MSc, BSc
Kurt grew up in Maidstone, Saskatchewan and left the family farm for a Bachelor of Science Degree in the lower mainland. He returned to the prairies again and completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. He’s made Edmonton home for much of the past 15 years. While in Alberta, he enjoyed practising general family dentistry in a facility offering sedation and general anaesthetic for patients. He brings with him many years of surgical experience in placing implants, root canal therapies, and complex tooth removals such as wisdom teeth. Looking for a shift to the mountains and a return to small-town living, Kurt has had his eye on Nelson for a long time. He’s excited to have made the ‘leap’ and is wildly looking forward to canoeing, fishing, hiking and split boarding more. In the shoulder seasons, Kurt enjoys gardening, cooking and the occasional overseas adventure.

Dr Anne-Marie Claveau
D.M.D, BSc
Anne-Marie is a passionate dental practitioner who enjoys every aspect of dentistry: periodontal treatment (gum care!) and gum grafts, cosmetic denstistry, complex tooth removal including the extraction of wisdom teeth, interceptive dentofacial orthodontics and orthopedics, root canal treatments and removable prosthetics such as complete and partial dentures. Originally from the Ottawa-Gatineau region, Anne-Marie obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Doctorate of Medicine in Dentistry from the University of Montreal. During the past 5 years, Anne-Marie practiced dentistry in Mont-Tremblant where she lived with her husband Patrick and her two 2 sons, Marley and Ralph. But, the Laurentians weren’t challenging enough for these ardent outdoor-lovers so the family decided to pack-up, travel across Canada and relocate to the Kootenays. When she is not practicing dentistry, Anne-Marie can now be found mountain biking, skiing or hiking in sone mountains. Fun fact: Anne-Marie can name the capital of every country, even the obscure ones! Challenge her next time you meet her. Elle parle français y ella habla español. Ciao
